His Dreams Become Portals to an Unimaginable Universe: Omniverse Published by Outskirts Press

Author and martial artist Liam Parker introduces Jack Thornton, an intrepid former Marine whose dreams become waking nightmares of malevolent, unearthly entities Jack soon discovers are real.

Hillsboro, OR – Author and 4th Degree Karate Black Belt Liam Parker announces the release of Omniverse, Book I of the Omniverse Chronicles, published by Outskirts Press.

Jack Thornton, a former Marine lieutenant who served with the “Walking Dead” in Vietnam, has his quiet, lawyerly life interrupted by increasingly grim images of beings older than this earth who engage him as an adversary in a timeless war more dangerous than any merely mortal combat.

Anyone can be haunted by strange, even terrible dreams in the middle of the night.  But what happens if these dreams turn out to be preludes to a truth more nightmarish than anything one could imagine here on earth?  Jack Thornton is about to find out.

Jack’s world starts unraveling when he begins to realize these images that have begun to invade his waking hours are not imaginary.  They are his portal to a universe older than time and more evil than can be imagined, an arena of superhuman conflict in which he is a Hero, an undying servant of the Absolute, and an eternal adversary of the Yarvaak Golu, the God-Who-Waits.

Realizing he has been doomed to this endless cycle of violent death and rebirth, Jack takes on one eternal enemy, the Servant of Death, Heinrich Kuhl, who has become a willing pawn of far more powerful and malevolent entities than he himself.  Jack’s uncharted path through this dangerous otherworldly landscape leads him to new friends and allies as well as to the hauntingly beautiful Aiyanna and the fiery, red haired goddess, Brighid, who loved him in a far off time and place where Jack himself bore a storied name.

The first in the series of Omniverse Chronicles, author Parker’s new release is itself a prelude to adventurous new realities and heroic action in this timeless world where Jack Thornton finds himself doomed to a terrible destiny from which he may never be able to escape.
