It’s so stupid simple to find yourself comparing you to others. It’s sometimes like an automatic force within you…that inner critic. It says that your style is childish while another’s is refined and sophisticated. It says your’s is cute and still needs maturing while there’s is fresh and unique. It doesn’t matter who you compare yourself to. You’ll always find top notch shitty things to say about your creations while you raise up your drink to toast the other’s creation.
You deserve better than that. So don’t do it. Don’t listen to that inner critic. Stop comparing. Just don’t.
As long as you are putting yourself out there, as long as you keep striving forward, as long as you are creating… you deserve a high five…a fist bump… a bloody toast to ya. CHEERS to you my friend. Don’t give up.
