The decision to choose fantasy as your genre is amazing. From Lord of the Rings to The Game of Thrones, fantasy has been around and will stick around long past our days. Though, writing fantasy can be a bit of a challenge. Heck, just choosing the writer’s life is a challenge, but worth the calling.
Just like your characters, you are beginning a quest! There are several archetypal characters to choose from and include in your story. My own fantasy series has an oracle, a young druid teenager, warriors, and something akin to priestesses. Every character comes with their own needs, desires, and goals. Every story comes with plots, plot twists, and bags of tricks.
